A Leader in Hedge Fund Data Greenwich Alternative Investments ("GAI") was the first to collect data and perform large-scale research on the broad universe of hedge funds, initially under the name Van Hedge Fund Advisors. As a result, GAI has one of the oldest and most extensive hedge fund databases in existence. For almost two decades, the GAI Database has been used internally to produce the GAI Hedge Fund Indices and research on the hedge fund industry for the institutional investment community.
